Description

Riad Zina is a superb traditional house located in the popular Riad Laarouss area.
The Dar El Bacha Museum, one of the royal palaces, a cab drop-off location, and a souk entrance with various eateries including "Terrasse des épices" and "Nomad" are all close by. The distance to Jemaa El Fna Square is just ten minutes by foot.


Indoors 
The riad contains two lounges, one on the first floor in the Douiria suite where an alcove has been turned into an office, and the other on the ground floor. There is fiber internet and wifi throughout the entire house.

Ground floor:
The night watchman's chamber is situated apart from the living spaces in the entry hall that connects to the stairs and opens onto a 100 square meter patio surrounded by three galleries. These galleries provide a modest seating space as well as access to the ground floor lounge, which doubles as a winter dining room with seating for eight people and a fireplace.
The outdoor eating area is part of the second gallery (capacity 10 to 12 people). It is close to the fully functional kitchen.
Finally, there is a large bench for relaxing with low tables and a variety of chairs that opens into a genuine natural environment under the third gallery.
The modest lounge across from the ground-floor bedroom is readily accessible from the patio.

First floor:
Through a vestibule, the second bedroom—the master suite—is reached. Additionally, it connects to the gallery, from which you may enter the third bedroom. The suite comprises of a Douiria lounge that is enlarged by a study nook and has a functioning fireplace, seats, and a coffee table. A Bluetooth speaker is available in the Douiria lounge for music listening. Traditional Douirias are getting harder to find. They served as the primary location in the master of the house's apartments to host guests from outside the family. In accordance with Islamic custom, this apartment often had a separate entrance from the riad to prevent guests (men) from meeting and seeing the ladies who were present in the riad. To present a favorable impression of the owner to guests, the Douiria's decorating must be orderly and creative. In Riad Zina, the original painted hardwood ceiling design has been retained. This Douiria lounge is highly light-filled thanks to its surrounding huge glass oculus. The office alcove and the chamber with the traditional windows and shutters are accessible from each side of the two huge double wooden doors, which have also been restored. It has a personal gallery.
The first floor vestibule's open gallery leads to the third bedroom.

Second floor:
The terrace bedroom, which was created in the Berber style, is located on this level. A double bed may be created out of its two single beds.


Outdoors​ 
Visitors will enjoy the 100 square meter terrace on the bottom level, which is surrounded by three galleries. The patio still preserves the traditional quadripartite layout of Islamic gardens, complete with a fountain, four squares, two palm trees, one of which is 8 meters tall, lots of cactus, and a fig tree.
The first gallery has a tiny living area underneath it (a bench, a coffee table and a designer armchair).
The outdoor eating area is located beneath the second one (capacity 10 to 12 people).
A sizable sitting area with coffee tables and sofas is available in the third gallery.
Two more facing galleries on the first level serve as the focal point.
Guests may take use of a sizable terrace with a sunbathing area, outdoor shower, and a little sheltered lounge on the second level. A glass and metal structure with apertures covers the Douria's first-floor oculus, and this structure is visible from the terrace.

Attached to the riad are a chef, a maid, and a steward who doubles as a night watchman.
